How to sign up for a workshop or tour
Unless otherwise noted on the individual workshop pages, sign up is as below.
Please be sure to visit and read the Policies and Payment page and the Covid Statement before sending any money.
Send an email to confirm space availability.
Preferred payment is by check made out to Rod Barbee or Rod Barbee Photography. (For many workshops, there is a discount for paying by check. See individual workshop page)
Travel Insurance is highly recommended
- Use the buttons below to sign up.
- In the Add-to-Cart box, first choose payment method: PayPal or check/Zelle.
- Choose the payment amount and number of people signing up. Click Add to Cart.
- A cart button will appear in the upper right hand corner of the page. Click on it then click on View Cart.
- If you're paying by check (or Zelle), click the "Pay by Check or Zelle" button, fill out, and send the form. Then just put your check in the mail or send payment through Zelle. Contact me for my Zelle account ID.
- If you're using PayPal, click on the PayPal button.

About Travel Insurance
We strongly urge you to purchase trip insurance that features a "Cancel For Any Reason" provision and have assembled a few sources here. We have no affiliation with any of these companies.
About traveling spouses/companions
For domestic workshops, non-photographing spouses and companions are more than welcome at any of my workshops with no extra costs other than those associated with park admission fees or guide fees. Occasionally we won't be able to accommodate traveling companions in all activities due to space constraints.
For international trips, traveling companions will be subject to the full cost of the tour or workshop.
About Lodging
Unless otherwise noted in the individual workshop or tour write up, you, the participant, will make your own hotel reservations. I'll pick a hotel and arrange group rates and will provide, upon registering for the workshop, the group name so that you can call the hotel and make your reservations.
This way, if you want to arrive early or stay on after the workshop, you can more easily make those arrangements.
About Transportation
With the exception of major tours (Iceland, Patagonia, and Yellowknife, for instance), or unless otherwise indicated in the workshop or tour write up, transportation during the trip is the responsibility of the participant. During workshops we highly encourage, and will facilitate, carpooling.
