I’m available for private workshops and tours. These can include site guidance, hands-on help in the field, Lightroom and Photoshop instruction. Image commenting/critiquing can also be included.
On a private workshop or tour, you control the group size.
Fee:
One or Two people $1000/day
Three or Four people $1300/day
Five or six people $1600/day
(Note: unless multiple days are booked, a day consists of about 8 hours or so--I'm pretty flexible in that-- from the time we meet.)
Plus travel, lodging and any guiding/entrance expenses.
(Travel expenses may include airline tickets*, rental car, fuel, and travel time.)
For private workshops and tours to Olympic National Park, the expenses amount to a hotel room for multi-day trips.
Since I live close to Olympic I can offer one-day 1-on-1 guidance/instruction sessions at a discount.
For some locations I can suggest hotel accommodations and even make group arrangements (given enough lead time).
If you desire classroom type instruction, that can often be easily accomplished by plugging a laptop into a hotel room tv. This depends on the tv in the room, but many hotels have decent sized flat screen televisions with hdmi ports. Keep this in mind when making hotel reservation.
For groups of four or more, classroom sessions are often best done in a hotel meeting room if such is available. Otherwise, we can probably make a hotel room work. I’ll leave that up to you.
To reserve the time, a non-refundable deposit of one-half the fee plus any airfare* is required with the balance due two weeks prior to the trip.
You'll also be asked to sign a liability release.
Private tours are subject to the Force Majeure provision of the Payment and Cancellations Policy. By signing up for a tour or workshop, you acknowledge and accept those policies.
